Straight comparison

AI receptionist or a live answering service?

Both solve the same problem: the phone rings and nobody can pick it up. They fail in completely different ways, and the right answer depends on how many calls you get and how variable they are.

The comparison, without the marketing

Every row is something we have actually been asked in a scoping call.

When the other option is the right one

A comparison page that never recommends the alternative is an advertisement, not a comparison.

[ CHOOSE THEM ]

Live answering service wins when

  • Your call volume is low and irregular, so a build never pays for itself
  • Most calls are genuinely unusual and need improvisation
  • You want a person on the phone as a point of brand principle, which is a completely legitimate position

If two of those are true of you, do that instead. We would rather tell you now than take a deposit for something that will not pay for itself.

[ CHOOSE US ]

We win when

  • You take more than about thirty calls a week and the bill is growing with them
  • Most calls are the same handful of questions and bookings
  • You want the call to end with something written into your job system, not a message pad

If two of those are true, the build usually pays for itself inside a year. You can check that yourself on the instant scope page.

[ 03 / THE BUILDS ]

What this looks like as a build

Priced on the page, and you can add them to a scope without talking to anyone.

Know which way you are leaning?

Price the build yourself first. If the number does not work, you have saved us both a call.
