What you can read, and what we will not pretend you can clone.
There is no desktop app and no public compiler for the account. There is a catalogue with the licence written down, and a handoff if you want to run a build yourself.
The reference is public. The account is not a download.
There is no desktop installer and no compiler to clone for the hub.
The account, Plan, Company, Tools, and Team are a hosted application. We do not publish it as a package you run on a laptop, and we do not describe it as an open-source runtime. Saying otherwise would be a second product.
What is public is the reference around it: the catalogue pages, the workflow library, the integration guides, and the connection pages. You can read those with no account.
Named open-source projects, with the licence written down
The platforms page is the boundary. This page will not soften it.
Each catalogue build names the project it starts from. Some of those projects are permissively licensed. Some are copyleft or fair-code, which means we configure and integrate them on your account and we do not quietly fork them into a product we sell seats of. The platforms and licences page says which rule applies.
If a job needs a closed modification the licence does not allow, the honest path is the vendor's commercial edition or a different build. We would rather say that on the page than discover it after you have paid.
Handoff is a real tier
You do not have to leave the running of a build with us.
OpenHandoff is the build plus the document and a 30-day fix warranty. After that, the alerting fires to you. OpenManaged is the choice to leave the watching with us. Both are on the pricing page, as bands, not as a seat count.
There is no public issue tracker for the hosted account. A defect, a security report, or a licence question goes to hello@betr.agency. If it is security, say so in the subject.
Read the licences before you assume you can fork one.
The catalogue will not be offended if you take a band to another builder.
The short version
The long version is above. These are the lines people look for.
Can I self-host the Betr account?
No. The account is hosted. A build we hand over runs on your own accounts, which is a different thing, and the platforms page says which licence that build sits under.
Where is the issue tracker?
There isn't a public one. Write to hello@betr.agency.
Will you fork a fair-code project into a seat licence?
No. The platforms page is the rule: configure and integrate, or buy the vendor's commercial edition.
